Those that read my last entry might remember my intentions to play Battlestar Galactica, well, unfortunately it didn't happen. We had too many people and only a few gamers that wanted to play. It was a major bummer for me. Anyway, leading up to the game, we played Infiltration. It is a rather fun Press Your Luck type of game set in the Android universe.
That got me really thinking about Android Netrunner, and I think I'm going to have to make a splash.
How can you not think that's cool? As far as games I've played other than Infiltration, we played the dreaded Cards Against Humanity. Look, I liked the game the first ten times I've played it, but since I've probably played it 50, I'm just sick of it. It loses all of its fun. No mas, no mas. I'm thinking of getting Werewolf or Retaliation just to use instead of it with big groups.
We played another day of our normalish card group. One of our members brought over Star Wars LCG and I played with his decks. It's a fun game, I've played before a while ago. I'm probably going to get suckered into that game to. We played one melee game of Thrones, and, Lindsay had a Stark win as usual. She's easily top dog in our meta right now. I haven't been able to really try out my Greyjoy Mill that much, so I'm not sure how well it is working. I was doing OK in our 3 person melee with it. That's the only second time I've used it.
Otherwise, Linds and I played the Lord of the Rings LCG last night. It has been ages since I played and it was her first time. We did the Mirkwood Forrest intro objective with just the core deck. We won, barely, but I think we might have been cheating a bit. Not on purpose of course. I spoke to my insider for LOTR LCG and he was surprised our Tactics / Leadership decks even won. There's not much questing there.
Anyway, might be having more LCGs tomorrow. I'm still pining for Admiral Adama's face on my card in the future, hopefully I can be a Cylon one day. We're off on vacation next week, so likely not games until the following. Peace!
